Since high school I’ve had a passion for journalism and currently work in magazine publishing in the tourism/hospitality industry in sunny Central Florida.
I married my best friend Brandon in March 2009 and we recently added to our family with a long-haired miniature dachshund named Millie.
I decided to start a blog as my own way of journaling – an activity that I began in 10th grade at the insistence of my journalism teacher and one that I have unfortunately not kept up with very well.
Next to writing, reading is something I am very passionate about. I was told in my first magazine course that behind every great writer is an avid reader. So I plan on using my blog to suggest some of my favorite books and encourage others to read with me!
